Can Artificial Intelligence create art
Yes You Are -- Debating the Impact of machine-created art," Nautilus Science Magazine, December 4th, 2019. The following eight museums are host to most of the most acclaimed art pieces ever created in the world: The Hermitage, The Armoury Chamber, and The Tretyakov Gallery in Russia; The Louvre in France, The Sistine Chapel, The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City in the USA, The British Museum in the UK, and The Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico. Computers can create wonderful and certainly very appealing things. But by saying that they can create art, their definition or art and that of the Oxford Dictionary are completely different. Art is the use of imagination to express ideas or feelings. It is not only the final product but the path to get there.

Can artificial intelligence create art?
Artificial intelligence (AI) is entering the artistic arena, and it is fundamentally changing creativity and culture as we know it, a UNSW researcher says. Oliver Bown is Associate Professor and Co-Director of the Interactive Media Lab at the School of Art & Design. He says that as algorithms get smarter, computers will play more of a role in creating music, art, and other cultural artifacts. "While much of the discussion about artificial intelligence centres around automation and labour from an economic perspective, this particular case is in some ways more salient to our lives," A/Prof. "We're cultural beings, and artificial intelligence has the potential to fundamentally impact the way we do culture and the way we might understand ourselves."

Can an Artificial Intelligence Create Art?
From drawing machines to early digital art and now AI, we've wondered whether the fundamentally human seeming endeavor of ART MAKING can be done by machines. At Idea Channel, we think the answer is unequivocally, yes! Perhaps the better question would be, will we ever let machines make art on their own? Will we ever be able to scrub away the influence and bias of the humans that created the machines making said art? And if so, how will we respond to the art being made by machines?
Can an Artificial Intelligence Create Art? Google's Making an AI To Find Out
Despite major advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) in a number of sectors, like the AI that beat the world champion at Go, its progress in the creative realm has yet to be fully proven. Once in awhile, news about an AI getting shortlisted for a literary prize will come up (no, seriously), but so far, achievements and milestones in the arts are few and far between. Alas, we don't have a fantastic robot-Picasso just yet, but Google is working to fix that. They just announced Magenta--a research project that will explore how AI can be used to produce art. According to a member of the research team, the group will first study what algorithms will be able to generate music.
